Lo primero, comentaros que voy a dejar más tiempo para que me mandéis la canción que os pedí al principio. Os pido que lo intentéis, por lo menos una estrofa y el estribillo, están saliendo cosas muy interesantes! Buscad en los posts anteriores para ver las guías.

Today we are going to listen to this music: Pizzicato Polka by Johann Strauss and Joseph Strauss.
But... what is pizzicato? This word means playing a string instrument by plucking the strings (pulling a string with the finger and letting go quickly). Instruments such as the violin, viola, cello and double bass are normally played with a bow, but if the composer wants the player to pluck instead of bow, the word pizzicato is written in the music.

Hoy vamos a escuchar esta pieza: Pizzicato Polka de Johann y Joseph Strauss.
Pizzicato significa tocar el instrumento pellizcando (plucking) las cuerdas con los dedos, en instrumentos que normalmente se tocan con un arco (bow), como el violín, la viola, el cello o el contrabajo. Suele estar escrito pizzicato o pizz. en la partitura para indicar que se toca así.

And... what about the polka? This is a dance originated in Czech Republic in the middle of the 19th century, but now is familiar in all Europe and America, and performed by folk artists.
La polka es una danza que tiene su origen en la República Checa a mediados del siglo XIX, pero hoy en día es muy popular en toda Europa y en América, con algunas variantes.
Now, I want you to watch this video. Here you can see the rhythm of the music, and we have a lot of symbols: crotchets, quavers, semiquavers, minim.. and quaver rest! Pay attention to this symbol, instead of two quavers, you only play the second one!
Fíjate en este vídeo. Aquí puedes ver el ritmo que sigue la música, con varias figuras que conoces y algunas que son nuevas, como el silencio de blanca (que parece un sombrero y dura dos pulsos) y el silencio de corchea. Fíjate bien, aparece primero el silencio y después una corchea suelta. Podríamos leerlo Shh - ti .
Intenta tocar el ritmo mientras suena. Puedes ralentizar el vídeo si lo necesitas.
You can practise this rhythm with semiquavers (with your voice tiri-tiri, with instruments...)
Practica estos ritmos con semicorcheas (con tu voz, con tiri-tiri para las semicorcheas, con instrumentos...)
